I had the good fortune to work with the great team at a beloved Fast food franchise in 2018. At the time, they were preparing a series of promotional swag items for employees, to get excited about the holiday rush.
One of the items was a scarf, for which, in keeping with the rest of the chain's marketing, I suggested making a fun play on words. I suggested we take the company's marketing promise: "Always fresh, Never Frozen Chicken fingers" and simplify it to a fun play on the scarf— "Never Frozen" would make a fun wearable item, that people would keep and use for for its playfulness, and the brand would get more mileage. The team loved it, and and it became one of the most coveted items in that year's crew gift bag.
